Connecting travel professionals to create value
BTExpo was born out of a simple observation: travel professionals in Belgium lacked a dedicated, efficient, and welcoming meeting place—a space where business exchanges take place on an equal footing, with respect for every participant.
For 22 years, we’ve been creating the optimal conditions to ensure that every encounter becomes an opportunity. Our unique format—two days, two cities, standardized booths—guarantees a level playing field for everyone.
From small local tour operators to major airlines, every exhibitor deserves the same visibility. This is our founding principle, and it guides every decision we make.

20 Years of growth
In June 2026, BTExpo received the Tag d’Or award for the best B2B tourism trade show in Belgium.
This independent award recognizes organizations that innovate and contribute to the development of the Belgian tourism sector. A huge thank you to the entire industry for placing its trust in us for so many years.
2026 • SETTING COURSE FOR THE FUTURE
The 22nd edition is in the works, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure the best possible experience for our exhibitors and visitors before, during, and after the show.
2025 • 21st EDITION
1,300+ visitors & exhibitors, 185+ booths, 430 sales representatives. 1st time the Van der Valk Nivelles has been fully reserved to comfortably accommodate all our guests. BTExpo reaffirms its leading position and the steady growth it has seen in recent years.
2024
Over 1,000 visitors and exhibitors—a major milestone has been reached.
2023 • RETURN TO GHENT AND THE “CONVERSATION STARTER” MODULE
Preparing for the trade show is the key to success for both exhibitors and visitors. Launch of the 1-to-1 appointment system for exhibitors and visitors.
2022 • 750 VISITORS AND EXHIBITORS
The trade show has firmly established itself as the leading B2B event in Belgium.
2021
BTExpo is heading to Antwerp for its day in Flanders.
2020
The day in the north of the country moves to the heart of Flanders in Ghent.
2019 • BILINGUAL EXPANSION
BTExpo is moving from Brussels to Nivelles, on the outskirts of the city, to improve accessibility for visitors from all over Belgium. BTExpo is expanding into Flanders with a second day in Mechelen.
2004 • FOUNDING OF BTEXPO
The first edition brought together 40 exhibitors and 200 visitors in Brussels.
